<p class="commentary firstcommentary"><a id="SP1" class="paragraph-anchor"></a><b>&#167;1. </b>Inform's syntax for value properties is "X of Y": "the carrying capacity
of the box", say. Because of this, the word "of" is structurally significant
when diagramming assertion sentences. Unfortunately "of" also occurs in many
other situations:
